The 2018 edition of our Music Summer Camp, first held in 2010, will take place from June 24th to July 21st.
It offers you and all the other participants a 360° educational experience that mixes traditional studies and musical experimentation with fun and relaxation.

Who is it for?

Our Summer Camp is for musicians of all levels over the age of 8.
The courses are divided into age groups:

  • 8 to 14 years of age;
  • 15 to 18 years of age;
  • 19 years of age and up.

Your starting level is based on the London College of Music (LCM and RGT) grading system, in accordance with European certifications.

Where

The 2018 edition will be held at an exceptional location in the upper Camonica Valley: the enchanting village of Ponte di Legno (about 1,250 m a.s.l.).

Ponte di Legno is a magical place, surrounded by some of the most beautiful villages in Italy and by points of cultural interest, such as the White War Museum and the Rock Drawings of the Camonica Valley, UNESCO World Heritage Site No. 94.

Our courses

Each course lasts one or two weeks, depending on your preference. Our Summer Camp gives you the opportunity to meet other people who, like you, love music and wish to increase their knowledge or get to know one of the following five instruments:
-piano;
-singing;
-modern guitar;
-cello;
-clarinet.

Instruments and Equipment

3 grand pianos (a Steinway and two Yamaha), 8 upright pianos (Yamaha) and professional audio and voice systems let you practice and have fun at our Summer Camp.
You need to bring your own instrument for the guitar, cello and clarinet courses.

The program

Your week will consist of individual courses, collective courses and a music ensemble totaling 6 hours a day, plus time for group and leisure activities, as well as relaxation.  Thanks to our tutoring activity, intermediate or advanced level students can try their hands at teaching other, less-experienced students. At the end of the Camp, a closing recital alongside our teachers allows you to experiment and show off what you’ve learned.
